Good Goin' Mom . . .

My Mom's an occupational therapist with the school district, teaching kids to use age appropriate fine and gross motor skills . . . which means she's been working on the same exercises she uses with first graders with Annie since she was like 8 months old. Last week Annie and I went and visited Grandma's school, and got to play with the toys, jump on the trampoline, walk on the balance beam, and Annie's favorite, learn to cut with scissors.
So, of course, Annie just walked into the room with a candy she'd found earlier this morning, that I'd told her she couldn't have, shoved in her mouth, a pair of scissors in one hand and a cut candy wrap in the other.
Way to go Mom, no candy is safe from Annie now! :-)

Aren't Grandma's fun! My mom taught Lena to say "mine" at a year old! How much fun was that!
