Catching Up: Zoo Trip

The day after Thanksgiving, Greg took the kids, along with Cody and his girlfriend Brooke, Talina, David and Bailey, to the zoo.  (I stayed home and got some much needed Holiday recovery cleaning done).

Later that night, Grandpa KC and Grandma Ruth came over to help us get Christmas lights up -- the kids have never been so happy:

Grandma and Grandpa also took us to Chick Fil A -- where the kids got these awesome paper hats. Which Ellie wore while 'flying' her dragon (see the face she made on the front of the box -- so cute.)

Catching Up: Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving at Grandma Karine & Grandpa Robert's house -- with the whole extended family.

It's not really a family party without 'feats of strength' -- including Cody lifting Ben.

 Even with gluten free pumpkin chocolate chip muffins AND chocolate cupcakes, Ellie was one sad little girl that she didn't get whipped cream like all the adults who don't have to eat dairy and gluten free.  Other than this, the rest of the meal went fine with the food restrictions (we had gluten free rolls, dairy free potatoes, and some of those pumpkin muffins for the meal).
