Day 5 - Spring Break at Bryce Canyon - Last Day
This was our last day, as we made our way out of the park. We stopped back up Losee Canyon to do the Arches Trail again, and took Grandma Karine, Grandpa Robert, and Greg, up the trail with us this time. Then it was the drive home -- of which Owen slept all the way from Panguitch to after we got off I-15 -- and I only had Annie and him in my car, so it was the EASIEST drive home from a trip EVER
:-) The two middle kids had gone home with Greg in his car, and we'd loaded up all of our stuff in the van where they'd normally be sitting -- it was great to have Annie up front chatting with me the whole time, and to have all of our stuff come straight home with us, so we didn't have to swing by Grandma and Grandpa's house after the drive home to get our stuff from the trailer.

Day 4 - Spring Break at Bryce Canyon - Adults (and Annie) hike
Grandma and Grandpa were kind enough to take all five of the youngest kids for a big chunk of the day so that Star, Talina, David, Gregory, and I could go up to Bryce Point, hike down that, do half of the Peek-A-Boo loop, across the middle of the valley and back up the half of the Navajo Loop trail that wasn't closed. It was a really fun couple hours, and totally gorgeous -- and it was SO much fun to take Annie -- she just loves being one of the 'adults' and she can out hike all of us anyway
:-) Also nice to not have little kids with us when we were hiking over ice and snow on narrow paths with rocks littering the pathway (Annie won as the first of us to be hit with a falling rock, Star was hit next), and then back up the last part of Navajo with the steep switchbacks. There would have been far more whining had we brought the children!
