Largest animal in the world. Once in a lifetime whale watching trip. We saw not one, but two, blue whales. These two are in So. Cal. more than a month earlier than normal — the guide said in all his years doing this, he’s only seen blue whales in the area before June six times. Not only did we see them repeatedly — but the one came up right next to or directly in front of our boat multiple times. It was amazing.
The pictures don’t do it justice. It was so big, even with us seeing only 10% of it. For comparison, they said someone Annie’s size could swim through its veins.
