So, we went out minivan shopping today (no decision yet on whether or not we're getting one), and Annie was hilarious the whole time. I think the dealership wanted to hire her.
"Oooooh! I LOVE it! It's beautiful!" was her first response to the van as we walked up to it. She promptly hopped inside and started to walk around the van like she owned the place, all the while making comments like, "Oh, I like it Mom," and "It is SO pretty!" She excitedly showed us, "This would be my seat, that would be Ellie's seat, and my friends can ride in back!" One of my favorites, "Ooooh! The seat folds up. That's amazing!"
We did the whole test drive thing. Annie made helpful, gushing comments the whole time. Upon returning to the dealership, she started to cry, "No! I hate our old car, I want the van! I LOVE the van! I don't like our old car!" She nearly threw herself to the ground and did the whole 'toddler tantrum' thing, but thankfully was able to reign herself in.
Well, that's one member of our household who's decided on the "do we or don't we" car buying question! The rest of us (i.e. those in control of purchasing decisions) are still up in the air.
It was pretty though.
