Annie was on the phone with my Mom earlier.
"Yeah, Mommy is in doing a graphics job . . . she likes doing graphics."
My Mom explained, "You know, your Mom is very talented on the computer doing graphics. Do you know what talented means?" She went on to explain talents, and what some of the different talents in our family are.
Later I heard Annie and Ellie talking while cleaning off the table. Or, more accurately, spraying the water bottle on the table and getting it soaking wet, and mopping it up with equally wet rags. They enjoy 'cleaning' in ways that only make my life more difficult. :-) "Ellie?" Annie asked, "What is your talent?" Ellie continued to move water around the table. "You are very good at doing that 'Broooo' (elephant) game on the computer! That can be your talent! You know, everyone has a talent. [Long pause]. Although some people's is drinking water."

I think that's really cute and she's right we all do have talents in different ways. What a great thing for your children to be learning! Don't you just think that 3 going on 4 is just the funnest age!!!!
