As I was driving the other day, I was listening in to Annie's phone conversation with her Aunt Talina:

"Hi, it's Annie." [pause]
"No. How are you?" A little annoyed she didn't get to ask the question first as per her usual phone script.
"I good, I just sitting here, in the car, with Mommy, Ellie and Baby White Bear Polar Bear."
My cell phone beeps.
Annie, kinda miffed sounded very annoyed, "Mine phone just beeped at me!"
I call from the front seat, "Oh Annie, that means the battery is dying . . ."
"Oh!" as she slams the phone shut and hangs up on Talina. I laughed. I had to call my sister later to explain the sudden dead air.

Annie is not going to tolerate anything but first rate phone conversations on her terms...the girl has standards! hahahaha

She actually told me she was going to hang up. She said something along the lines of, "My phone beeped. i have to go." Click.
I thought she had someone on call-waiting and I was super impressed that she knew what that was. I'm glad you were around, though. Lately I can't tell if you gave Annie your phone to call me or if she FOUND your phone and called me. My personal favorite is when you were on Greg's parents house phone and David called your cell phone. Annie answered it and talked to him for several minutes. He kept trying to get her to tell you he was on the phone but she just kept telling him "She's talking to someone else. But you can talk to Annie."
