Family Fun

Greg's work gives us Family Passes to some fun places every August.  The last week of August we were able to get three places done in two days.

Thursday Greg and I hit the Gateway Children's Museum with the kids, Talina and Bailey, and our friends Joni and Audrey.

Then, of course, we had to hit the Gateway Fountains afterwards

Tired out boys that night (Isaac always ends up on the floor)

The next day Greg and I took the kids (and Talina and Bailey again) to the new Natural History Museum up at the U of U.

Then Greg and Isaac were tired and whiny :-)  So we sent them home, and Talina and I took the babies and the girls to "This is the Place Heritage Park"
Where, of course, we got to do pony rides:
 And pet various farm animals
Ellie chased down anything that moved

And milked fake cows

Cutest picture of Annie & Bailey
Checking out the straw mattresses in the tiny cabins
Mmmmm. ice cream and slushies.

The biggest hit was panning for gold

And one last pony ride and petting zoo visit before it started raining and we ran out of there
Ellie all excited (and kinda freaked out) 'cause her horse had tried to take off in the other direction right before the ride was over.

Ellie got scared by one of the sheep and took off sobbing.  Like a bad Mom, I got a picture. :-)
