Dinosaur Museum

It's that magical time of year where Greg's work hands us a pile of family passes and we go and try and see as MANY of them as possible in one month!  Saturday it was the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum with the kids, my parents and my sister Star.

The new Physics exhibit near the entrance of the museum was a favorite among everyone . . . in fact, I was worried we wouldn't be able to drag Greg out of there!
Here's Annie, Grandpa and Isaac playing with the balls . . .
Annie and Ellie repeatedly ran through the 'star tunnel', and got more and more excited each time they did it . . . here's Annie after coming out of it the fifth or sixth time . . .
 Isaac and Aunt Star
I think the only reason we were able to get Greg away from the Physics exhibit was the promise of the erosion tables . . . it's a favorite with all my kids :-)  Here's Ellie working on building an island for her dinosaurs . . .
Aunt Star comparing Ellie's size to the fish -- the fish won . . .
Aunt Star and the girls . . .
Ode to Shark Week (it was still Shark Week when the pictures were taken, at least)
Ellie pouting 'cause Aunt Star (the horrible person she is) totally forgot to bring her grape lip gloss with her . . . Ellie was beyond disappointed . . .
Isaac was a huge fan of the tiny guard rails that worked well as hand rails if you're under 30" tall . . . it was like, "It's about time they start accommodating us short people!"
I absolutely LOVE this picture of Annie and Grandpa . . .
Mommy and Isaac digging for dinosaur bones . . . or smuggling gravel out in Isaac's diaper . . . one or the other . . .

Looks like so much fun! That is one of the few places on our list that we have not gotten to this summer!

I think it's the coolest thing that Greg's work does this for their families. The dinosaur museum is a favorite of ours too. Although we usually save it for the colder months when we're dying to get out of the house.

Next time you do the dino museam with Aunt Star, we want to come too! We love that place. Plus, Kiki and Annie would have a blast together.

As added incentive, I ALWAYS have green apple and chocolate-covered-strawberry lipgloss. I'll swoop in and become the new favorite! ;)

That was a lot of fun! And how horrible of me not to have any lip gloss. It's the first and last time that will ever happen.
