This morning, as I was getting ready, Ellie was diving into my makeup box, sponging on imaginary lotion, brushing on imaginary cheek blush, and slathering on very real lip gloss. Greg was playing with her, trying to distract her from anything too messy, but was a bit too slow when she grabbed my foundation and squirted it all over her hands. "No Ellie," Greg exclaimed, "You don't need any foundation! You're cute just the way your are!"
"Yeah," Annie piped in, "Not like mommies! They get out of the tub and don't look cute and need makeup!"

So funny! This morning I considered not putting on any make up for our errands after getting out of the shower, but had the same thought as Annie....not cute!
HAHA! That's hilarious and a total 3 (going on 4) year old comment. Those kids are SO smart.
