So Let it Be Written . . .

I'm going on record now:

Greg thinks the baby is a girl.
Even making a gender slip earlier today when he said, "Uh huh, yeah Hilary, I'm sure she needs that freakishly bright pink cupcake."

I'm convinced it's a boy.
(Although, begrudgingly. Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled with a son too, but I'm definitely in a 'I want what I know' and 'Do you know how many baby girls clothes I own?!" mode.)

We will see.

It possibly should be noted: I have thought both of our first two pregnancies were boys as well. Greg has been convinced they were girls. One of us, who shall not be named, seems to contain a greater capacity for parental intuition.

What does the chinese gender chart say for you? http://parenting.ivillage.com/ttc/ttcsigns/0,,j736,00.html

Mine was right on both. And I was convinced otherwise on both. Was it right on your others?

A friend of mine used the Chinese gender chart and it was wrong with her first baby. But then she found a DIFFERENT version and it was right!
This is the problem with the internet. How can you know what to trust? :)
I think it's a girl. Mainly because I don't think all of those girl clothes should go to waste and I don't know how boy toys will compete in your toy room full of princess things.

It says boy this time. But, it has said boy every time. The ancient chinese were as good at guessing my last two kids as I was :-)

I was nervous about having a boy after two girls too... but dang it's ridiculous how much I have loved this kid. No worries! Cheers and hoorays either way! :-)

I think it will be a boy, and he will be born in June. I have said this for weeks, and will continue to stick by it, until an ultrasound proves me wrong.

I hear ya on having all the clothes already for a girl, but after having a boy--boys rock! I think it will be a boy just to throw you for a loop and give you a new adventure in mommyhood.

Well the good news is you'll be fine either way. I understand the whole benefit to having the same gender. Worked great for me. Time for a new adventure though.

I find myself in the interesting position of not knowing how old I was when girl baby was conceived. June 2nd was the first day of my cycle. June 23rd was my birthday. I'm a late ovulator, and plus you haven't actually conceived until the little zygote implants, right?

The Chinese are right for me if I was pregnant before my birthday - wrong if I was pregnant after. All very interesting to you, I'm sure. :-)

I think another smart little girl would be fun. Although boys can be very fun too. Take Jaxson for example. :)

I agree with Jessi. Girls in May, Boys in June

boys are super fun but I have never had a girl so I cant say if one is better then the other. But I do know that boys are so fun it would be cool if you could have one this time.

You are so funny. I hope it's a boy for Greg's and your sake. They really are fun and speaking from a family of all girls (4 of us!) I always wanted a brother. Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of sisters. I honestly pity those who don't have them, which is why if I have a girl next I will consider going for a 4th kid just so she might get a sister. Anyway, now I'm rambling, but I cannot wait to find out what you're having. When's your anatomy ultrasound? Also, where are you delivering?
