Annie is off on her last day of Second Grade today, and Ellie had her
last day of Kindergarten yesterday. Now we have a whopping three weeks
off and they'll start up Third and First grades later this month :-)
Ellie on her last day of Kindergarten . . .
Then this morning we sent Annie off to her last day of Second Grade . . .
Then after Annie left, the kids played 'salon' in the bathroom.
Isaac exclaimed, "Come look Mom! I made
a magic mohawk!" Then he proceeded to rock out and loudly sing the
words "MAGIC MOHAWK!" over and over again. "Come on, Owen!
I'll teach you how to make your own mohawk! They're so fun! They're
too fun! You just need some spray water, and some brushing of the spray
out and then you have a mohawk!" Owen keeps exclaiming, "No, no fun
hawk."
The a couple pictures from earlier in the week. Ellie had to go around and get trash from all the bathrooms to go out to the trash outside. She was not happy about it. And put on winter gloves for added germ protection :-)
And just an Isaac picture, 'cause he's adorable.
And Isaac and Owen brotherly type pictures, because that's also adorable.
Owen sleeping in his big boy bottom-bunk. This doesn't normally happen, he vastly prefers his crib -- but he pees in it often enough that sometimes we're out of sheets and he has to sleep in his regular bed after all.
Annie had her 'High Flying Hawks' awards ceremony at school, and this is totally the best picture I got of it. Her carrying out her chair :-) The whole gym was full and there was like 9 or 10 classes of kids getting awards, so it wasn't conducive to picture-taking :-)
The boys had fun playing in the back of the cafeteria with new friends though. Which was good, 'cause at nearly an hour long, they were able to stay entertained the whole time.
