Originally New Years Day was supposed to be a big day for Owen. Priesthood ordination was happening right after Church. But we woke up to so much snow, and right off the bat Annie got her car stuck in the snow. We braved the snow again, despite none of the roads being plowed, to go to Church -- but got very, very stuck trying to park. We let the family know we'd be canceling the ordination, so people didn't have to drive there that day. After Church, my Dad came and brought us all home, and him and Greg headed back to the Church to pull out the van. He then drove us all to his and my Mom's house where we had some soup and got to have some ice cream to celebrate Owen's birthday (which we'd been planning on with both sides of the family before we had to cancel the ordination). My Dad drove us home later and Greg and the girls spent an hour or two clearing the drive way again. Annie and Greg headed out to get some practice on the snowy roads, but ended up getting stuck again and my Dad had to come rescue them. That means all three of our cars got stuck in the snow today, the three times we drove them, and my Dad had to pull us out with his truck twice!
