Day 4 & 5 of Family Vacation

I totally forgot my camera on our Day 4 beach day -- which was especially tragic, as this was the day Star was stabbed by a sting ray. Day 5 was up to Newport beach, the pier, then out whale watching (where we did see a couple whales, some cool sea lions, and hundreds and hundreds of dolphins -- it was incredible). Then we went back to Newport beach where the tide was out SO far -- like further than I'd ever seen it, and the kids were fascinated by the ocean floor left behind, including endless numbers of shells with animals in them. The boogie boarding waves weren't the best, but it was one of the coolest days at the beach because of the incredible low tide.
