Day 4 - Spring Break at Bryce Canyon - Easter fun
I have two different Day 4 albums, because this was the day Uncle David and Grandma Karine were able to join us, and we did lots of fun things with the kids for Easter. Baskets in the morning, hidden in the field near our camp site, and then not one, but TWO Easter Egg hunts Grandma planned for the kids. Star, Talina, David, Greg, Annie and I did a longer, funner hike with none of the little kids, which will be it's own album
:-) In the evening we took the kids back to the Visitors Center to finish our Junior Ranger program, and then did some short hikes around the Sunset and Sunrise lookouts. Then roasted marshmallows, after the kids had totally exhausted themselves running around for an hour or so with their new friends in the next camp site. (Fun thing about our camping neighbors, the Mom is a 2nd Grade Dual Immersion Spanish teacher, and the Dad works with the colleges in California to train and prepare Dual Immersion teachers. Their twin six year olds were bilingual, and the kids all had a lot of fun chatting and singing in Spanish).
