The last full day in California was our 'beach day' -- it was on the chilly side, but that didn't stop the kids from playing in the surf, the tide pools, and the sand. There were also games of tag on the front lawn, and the next morning before driving home, the kids spent a couple hours in the pool with Grandpa.
