Aw, the highs and the lows of being a gluten-free mama. First off, we went to Girl Scouts and Ellie's leader had gluten-free graham crackers and dairy free chocolate for Ellie to makes s'mores with tonight. I had asked if I could bring something, but she insisted on doing it herself. It made me smile. I might've cried a few happy tears when I saw how excited she was. Then, while she was at her meeting, we stopped at Cosco's. And one of our favorite gluten-free flours has been discontinued. It made me sad, and I may have cried a few sad tears. You win some you lose some. :-)

(Isaac) "We can play house! I can be the dad!" (Cousin Bailey) "Yeah! And I can be the mom!" (Isaac) "Okay! And Owen, um, I think he should be the Grandma. And I'll tell you why . . . " Unfortunately no adults got to catch his logic in this conversation. :-)
Also from Isaac: "Owen! Don't do that! You don't want to be like Bailey!"
Bailey: "I need hugs!" Isaac: "I think Bailey needs a hundred hugs before she'll go away."

There are four open containers of Almond Milk in my fridge. FOUR. Does nobody think to check one of the other several containers before opening a new one?!

Owen's favorite new game . . . Though I don't think he actually knows how to play it.

I just walked into Annie's room to wake her up, and saw this poster she just put up on her wall. Seriously? Those kitties look like they're going to jump off the wall and maul her to death. . . They are like most frightening adorable things I have ever seen. They look possessed. I don't know how she sleeps at night.
