The Afternoon in Disneyland

We spent the afternoon at the beach, then came back to close the park.

Loving the Carousel . . .

More character time . . .

Annie loving the Tower of Terror yet again . . .

Chip and Dale were hanging out right outside the Tower as we were getting off.  Ellie's still sad she missed this one.
Annie and her Aunts with Chip.

Aunt Lacy and Isaac, and Ellie hanging upside down from something she probably wasn't supposed to be hanging from . . .

Another Day at Disneyland

Another day in Disneyland.

No, they haven't slept more than 8 hours a night in the last couple nights . . . why do you ask?  :-)

At least one of 'em was super happy :-)
(Actually, they'd all have meltdowns, but recovered quickly.)

Off to Mickey's Toontown.
Being tickled by Pluto.

Annie was always posing sweetly next to whatever she was placed in front of . . . Ellie was never quite so cooperative :-)

Third Day at Disneyland

I've already mentioned this, but Isaac loved meeting the characters more than just about anything in the whole wide world.

We were big fans of the Lady Bug ride back in the Bugs Life area.

Annie in the back row of Tower of Terror -- she loved it.

Second Day at Disneyland

Monday morning we headed out for Disneyland at 9AM.  'Cause that's when the ticket lady told us it was open.  But it wasn't open 'til 10AM, so we went to Downtown Disney and tried on mouse ears and watched Ellie get fussier and fussier.

Isaac got to meet Winnie the Pooh and Tigger face to face.  He was beyond excited.
Over by Winnie the Pooh, we were once again reminded that Splash Mountain was closed, which was sad for all of us since it's a family favorite.  Ellie had taken a nap at one point, and woke up shouting, "Splash Mountain is closed!  It's Cody's very favorite ride, his very very very favorite ever ever ever, and it's closed!"

Another Day at the Beach

I definitely think that the beach was Annie & Ellie's favorite place to play on vacation.
The pictures speak for themselves.

Isaac loved the beach as well -- especially trying to eat the sand or throw it in his own eyes.
For a few minutes, he just happily sat there and would stand up with a handful of sand, throw it on my leg, then sit back down, grab more sand, stand up, throw the sand on my leg, and do it all again.
