Family Night with Tiny House Designs & Homemade Pizza

This is how EVERY Fall night should be.  Eating (the pizza we made from scratch) outside in the gorgeous evening weather, playing games (even if Ellie's game was playing tetherball against herself using only her head), and then the kids getting really creative as they designed their own tiny homes. Ellie's was an architectural masterpiece with everything thought through, space saving, and dual purposed. Annie spent half her time pulling up images on her phone to show me what her kitchen, sofa, bed, end tables, coffee table, and light fixtures will all look like. ("But smaller.") And Owen started with his plans, a small basement (Ellie scoffed, tiny houses don't have basements!), a small kitchen, a game room, then a Ninja Warrior course, then a gym that people can pay to come use, with a secret tub that sends their $1 payment to the tiny house's very own onsite bank, which was next to the guest room.  Owen's tiny room ended up being a giant mansion by the end, with laser shooting cleaning robots, laser shooting dogs that rain down from the sky, and LOTS of ninjas. And a soft that can seat 999 people, and a chair that fits one person. Isaac surprised me by just sitting back and taking it all in and not really doing one of his own. But when we came back inside, he did find a cardboard box that he claimed as his own tiny house.
