Family Vacation Day 1

We hit the beach and a pier before getting to the dock to board the Carnival Panorama. We had a ton of fun exploring the new ship, swimming, and trying out all the fun amenities.

Owen's Baptism

I didn't want to go to bed tonight without taking a minute to sit and reflect on what a wonderful day it was.  Owen, my baby boy, was baptized today. This is a day he's been looking forward to for a long time.  And it was wonderful. Full of family and loved ones doing what they always do -- showing up and showing us so much love and support.  Owen's big brother, Isaac, and big sister, Ellie, both gave beautiful talks and I got to listen to all of my kids sing, and I couldn't get enough of just watching this  little kiddo of mine go back and forth between a huge toothless smile and thoughtful big eyes as he took in what was being said or done.  I'm grateful for this family of mine, and these beautiful children I'm blessed to be a Mom too.  I'm grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the direction and purpose it offers in my life and for my family.  And I'm grateful for a loving Heavenly Father in my life who has blessed us so richly and loves us so unconditionally -- it's impossible to not feel that on a day like today.
