Saturday Easter Egg Hunt with Grandma & Grandpa

One of my kids very favorite Holiday traditions is the Saturday Easter Egg Hunt with Grandma Ruth & Grandpa KC -- there's dozens and dozens of eggs hid all throughout Grandma & Grandpa's awesome yard and gardens, and Grandpa always brings out surprises like water balloons and whipping cream. Annie and Isaac were especially fun to watch water fight this year.

Easter Saturday Morning & Sugar Cookies

The kids were so excited to get up early on Saturday and check out what the Easter Bunny had brought. (New camping hammocks for the three younger kids, since they didn't have one, and new sunglasses and a drawstring bag for Annie since she already had a hammock). Unfortunately, Ellie and Greg were both feeling pretty crummy, but it did make for some adorable cuddling. Ellie perked up and was able to spend some time outside with her siblings eventually. We headed over to hang out with Grandma Ruth and Grandpa KC for the afternoon, then came back to decorate the gluten free sugar cookies that the Easter Bunny had brought for the kids. This cookie decorating kit may have been my kids' favorite Easter surprise ever. It was fun to watch how creative they were!
