Greg and I were busy getting ready for Pioneer Trek, so my parents and sisters took the kids for a day of kayaking -- we've done so much fun kayaking this Summer, but have so few pictures because we're out on lakes and don't bring the good cameras :-)

Isaac's 7th Birthday

Isaac turned SEVEN today!

All he wanted for his birthday was 'a surprise' and fireworks.

Aunt Star got to be the first person to surprise him, with the biggest hit of the day, a new Harry Potter wand AND a spell book with all the spells from the books and movies.  Then, Star took it up a notch, and also gave gifts to ALL the other kids too -- Annie is as excited about her gift as Isaac is his! :-)

Once Greg got home and we finished dinner, we headed outside to open gifts, and then to do fireworks!
