We started off early in the month with a night of rain and super cool frozen plants . . .
April was our month of illnesses -- we spent most of Spring Break with someone puking, and the last half of the month with a horrible cold. It's nice having kids old enough to puke in bowls and toilets now though!
Annie was showing me her impression of Owen's 'poker face'.
Owen LOVES avocados, with lime and salt.
Annie went to Math Team Competition for the third year in a row:
Owen scraped his forehead and wanted an oversized bandaid to cover the bit of rug burn.
Round two for poor Owen.
Soccer was especially fun this weekend, because cousin Marv and cousin-puppy Delta came to cheer Annie on!
We also got to hang out at the Jordan River Temple Open House with Grandma Ruth and Grandpa KC, and then headed to Costa Vida afterwards. Then Owen got to drive home in the neighborhood. He was VERY excited. His sisters were VERY freaked out.
They cut a new trail in the Herriman Hills, and we loved hiking it one Sunday evening this month.
Star took me to see Hamilton!!! Amazing!
We killed time one day before Kindergarten by heading to Thanksgiving Point Farm Country with cousins.
We went to Lagoon and rode Rattlesnake Rapids -- the boys got a little whiny about getting splashed. But decided to get DRENCHED all the way through in the Splash area on the way out of the park.
Annie cut several inches of hair off, and is LOVING it.
The kids had a lot of fun playing with the Hamilton meme maker on my phone :-)
Annie may or may not have rolled her eyes at her Dad's thorough safety lectures for lawn mowing.
We had so much fun going with Grandma Karine and Great Grandma Powell to Thanksgiving Point to see the Tulip Festival.
