Indoor Soccer

The kids were excited to start indoor soccer this season.  Owen is on a team with his cousin, Bailey, and several of Annie and Ellie's friend's younger siblings who will all be starting Kindergarten with him this coming school year.  Isaac is also on a team with several younger siblings, Ellie got on a team with a couple friends, and Annie is on a team with like 6 or 7 kids from her class at school :-)  They're all so excited to be playing.  Isaac and Owen are so excited they kinda just dance and skip around the place :-)  Ellie looks intense and has a ton of hussle, and Annie was an AMAZING goalie, but I got no pictures of her game, I was chatting with other Moms.  Oops :-)  The nice thing about spending nearly the ENTIRE day at games at the Rec Center is we saw so many of the same people all day with everyone's younger siblings on each other's teams :-)

Battle of the Books

We had a great week around here!

On February 16th, Ellie participated in her first ever Battle of the Books (3rd/4th grade competition) and her cute team, The Reading Monkeys, came in second place!  The winning team was another group of third graders, so the third graders really did amazing for their first ever Battle!  We are so proud of how much they learned, how hard they worked, and how well it all paid off!  

Then, not even a week later, February 21st, Annie's team competed for their third time in the 5th/6th grade Battle of the Books and they came in second place too!  For the THIRD year in a row! :-)

Valley of Fire Camping Trip

On our way home we hit Dixie Rock in St. George for even more red rocks!
